The part of your project I liked the best was...that you had sounds appropriate for what your sprite was doing, and that you prepared for all answers a student might give. Parts of the projects I would change, fix or add are.....if a student said no at the beginning, you might want to have your sprite go back to the beginning after a few momemnts; otherwise, it's stuck. Also, the words go a little too fast to read all the information before you have to calculate the cost. And if you put in a wrong answer more the once, it gives you the correct answer and moves on.

ReplyDeleteParts of the project I would change, fix or add are...Is minium wage $7.85? I'm a little out of touch I guess. Also, slow text down. This would also be a great chance to add that there will be taxes coming out of that paycheck BEFORE it goes home with her.
Oh! Ha! Minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. I don't know where I got $7.85. Now I have to redo all my math :)

I suggest that you speed up your animations a bit if you can. They look great but seem to move a bit slow.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great lesson to teach students about finical management and about purchasing a car. As a business teacher I LOVE this game - thank you for making it. One of my favorite parts of your project was the sound effects and the dance at the beginning this was a very fun game to play - great job. Sorry this is so late.
